St. Patrick's Day Table

I created a budget friendly St. Patrick's day table. Most of the stuff I had already like the cereal, grapes and bucket for the centerpiece. I bought a pack of 5 plastic hats at the 99 cents store and the "gold" coins. The crazy shamrock straws were bought at Dollar Tree along with the kraft paper I used as a table cover. I made my backdrop out of 4 inch cardstock circles. The printables that I used were a FREE download thanks to Amanda's Parties TO GO. Get yours HERE.

Valentine's Banner

A little while ago I created a Valentine theme craft party just for my 2 sons. To see the party you can click HERE. Today I want to share with you the easy banner I created for the craft supplies table. The banner was made with cupcake liners as the background then I added white card stock circles on top to place the letters on that for easier visibility. The letters were created with my dye cut machine. To complete it I used glittered clothespins to clip it onto some ribbon!

Fun Name Card

Hi, today I want to quickly share a pinwheel name card I created. It was so simple to create and I think it will look great at the table.

Supplies:

• Scrapbook paper
• Stick
• Hot glue gun
• Brad

Directions:

1. Cut a piece of scrapbook paper into a small square (I believe I did a 3inch x 3inch)
2. Fold it length and then width wise
3. Then unfold it and cut the folded lines but don't cut all the way to the center
4. Next bring over every other corner to the center and insert the brad
5. Finally hot glue it to a stick a you're done!

Valentine's Craft Party Inspiration

I put together a small Valentine's craft party just for my two boys. It was a spur of the moment type of thing so I kept it to a minimum.

 I love how the cupcake toppers turned out!

 

Their food table, when they finished eating we cleared it and used it as the craft table.

Peanut butter sandwiches wrapped in wax paper and tied off with some yarn.

The first craft was to decorate a bag for the Valentine cards.

 

 

 

The second craft was a bookmark.

The last craft was a pipe cleaner heart stranded with beads.

Completed craft projects. I didn't want complicated crafts because I didn't want them to loose interest. These were perfect and they had fun!

Thanksgiving Tablescape Inspiration

Happy Thanksgiving week!!! I hope things are going smoothly in preparation for Thanksgiving I am almost done with everything that needs to be bought and I begin on Wednesday with the side dishes so I can have enough time on Thursday for the turkey. I wanted to take some time out from this crazy week and share this tablescape that I created for a design challenge that is going on over at Executive Creations check it out and cast your vote for your favorite one :)

A leaf from my front yard was used instead of a name card or tent.

I filled my cornucopia with leaves also from my front yard and then placed some popurri on top which contained pine cones and dried green leaves among other nature elements.

To embellish the candles I just added double sided tape and sprinkled some fine gold glitter on top. My vase filler was also found in my front yard.
